In September 2006 the Scout Association will be launching Join-in-Centenary (JiC) which will allow every young person to experience the centenary without necessarily being part of one of the big celebrations.

After the launch, every section leader will receive a section specific resource full of programme ideas for them to use in their weekly programme.  The resource will be distributed by GSLs, so if you do not receive your resource please ask your GSL or get in touch with someone on the Area 2007 team so you don’t miss out.

To help commemorate the centenary there will be a JiC scarf & badge set that can be worn by any member.  These can all be ordered through Outdoors or Badge Secretaries.
