How You Can Get Involved

Scouting is all about joining in!  There are various ways you can get involved!

 

Everyday Adventure!

 

We are always on the look out for new recruits both young and old.  Anyone can join at any age!

 

Young people can join one of the sections:

 

Beavers       6 – 8  year olds

Cubs            8 – 10 year olds

Scouts         10 – 14 year olds

Explorer      14 – 18 year olds

Network      18 – 25 year olds

Fellowship    over 18 and beyond!

 

How about volunteering as a Leader?  You don’t need to have been a Scout or Guide all you need is enthusiasm and some spare time!  We’ll even provide a Leader Training Scheme.

Donations

Scouting is a registered charity providing young people in the UK with over two million nights away from home doing adventurous activities.  Scouting is also the largest co-educational youth organisation in the UK.  Its are to aims to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

To achieve this we are constantly fundraising, all monetary donations are welcome and can be made payable to Aberdeen Area Scout Council and sent for the attention of the Area Treasurer.
